Silverbird TV Shut Down By AMCON Over N11billion debt

The Silverbird Group, including Silverbird TV, owned by Senator Ben Murray Bruce has been shut down by Assets Management Company of Nigeria, AMCON.
According to Dailypost, Silverbird Group is accused of owing the government agency about N11billion.
Policemen have now barricaded all properties belonging to the group.

 

Silverbird TV station has also stopped live transmission of its programmes, showing only recorded programmes.
There was no transmission at all at 9:25AM on Wednesday, reports Dailypost.
Guests and staff have also been reportedly asked to vacate all premises of the Silverbird TV stations and Cinemas.
